Meet our #SDBC Feature of the Week!

Carlet Cleare is a Rochester native who has Bahamian roots. She is a communications professional and has been a New York State Master barber for the past 22 years.

Carlet is a graduate of St. John Fisher College earning a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism. She joined the Bureau of Communications at City of Rochester as an Associate Digital Communications Assistant in January. Carlet is the supervising producer of the City’s social media program What’s Good Rochester.

When asked how she's living her best life she said, "Living my best life as a single woman means taking care of myself. Giving myself the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical nourishment I need so I can be a blessing to those around me. It means having the liberty to laugh out loud, and at myself, being free to dance alone in my living room and give myself away to those who benefit from who God recreated me to be!"
