SDBC Feature of the Week: Audrey Porter Rosier

Meet our #SDBC Feature of the Week!

Audrey Rosier is a woman of God.  She affectionately served her husband of 23 years until he transitioned in October of 2020.  She is a devoted mother of four children, grandmother of three and loyal friend to many.

Audrey is walking in new shoes as a single mother and learning how to navigate life without the guidance and leadership of her husband.  She’s learning how to date and wait.  In this new season, she has learned that dating has changed over the last 25 years.  However, Audrey has held on to her faith in God and sought therapy to properly heal.   She says, “we can all learn how to improve and identify the areas that need adjustment, even if it hurts a little.”

In the bible singleness means wholeness.  That’s the place that Audrey wants to get to in her lifetime.  Learning to be whole while single is powerful and fulfilling.  Audrey is strong and resilient.  She is dedicated to learning how to bounce back in lieu of the pain and disappointment and finds it empowering.

She knows firsthand how life can throw curveballs. It takes strength and the help of others to gain one’s balance.  Life happens and letting the process take its course will bring healing and structure to one’s life.  As the bible says, “weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning.”

Audrey is a native Rochesterian residing in Jacksonville, Florida.  She is also the founder of Ambassadors for Christ Ministries.  She was ordained as a pastor/teacher in 2010 under the spiritual leadership of Pastors Roger and Madell Breedlove of In Christ New Hope Ministries in Henrietta, New York.
