SDBC Feature of the Week: Chereese Foster
Meet our #SDBC Feature of the Week! Chereese Foster is a Detroit native currently living in Chicago, IL. She is a Black Belt Project Manager and is living her best life as a single woman. She's seen here in Trinidad at the world-famous Carnival that brings thousands of festival goers each year.
Chereese has been single for 5 years and says it's been tough meeting a man on the same page or in the same place in life that shares her values and goals.
While she is single and doesn't have kids, she is doing what she can and wants for herself so she’ll have stories to share, and hopes that her future children, nieces and nephews will be inspired to live life on their own terms.
She is inspired by her grandmother who will be 93 in May. She spent time with her grandmother 3 years ago and she talked about all the things she wish she could have done, but didn't. So, Chereese says, "at the very least, I do this for her since she can’t. I don’t want to look back on my life and think about what I didn’t or couldn’t do."
